Ross Maxwell has had B28-74-01 since August 2006.

There is currently some uncertainty as to whether this is chassis B28-74-01, the Teddy Pilette car, or B28-74-02 as raced by Peter Gethin. A more detailed explanation of the background to the two cars can be seen at the OldRacingCars.com website (click HERE to view).

Whichever chassis it eventually proves to be, both cars had a successful year in the UK Rothmans F5000 Championship, Gethin won four races and Pilette took several top three places.

Historical Notes:
The car was run as a works car by Team VDS and was driven by Teddy Pilette or Peter Gethin. The car also ran in the Tasman Series and was driven by Tony Dean.

Bob Romerill of Jersey owned the car. He fitted the car with a Jaguar engine and Hill-Climbed the car until 1988. The car then went to Paul Gardner of Preston in 1995.

Nick Shrigley-feigl from the Isle of Man bought the car in 1997 and was raced in the Force F5000 Series (UK) 2000 and 2001, the car also raced at Chevron 40th Anniversary at Oulton Park in 2005.

Bob Birrell bought the car in 2006 and raced it in the Derek Bell Trophy and I bought the car in August 2007 when it underwent a complete restoration job with Ian Jones of Racing Fabrications.
